Owner & Instructor
Wendy is a fully certified instructor through the PhysicalMind Institute and has been teaching for 10 years. She is a former NCAA captain for the University of Colorado cross-country/track teams. She passionately credits Pilates for her strength and flexibility needed to excel in her marathons, including 6 Boston Marathons, Mt. Biking, and skiing, as well as for her rebound after having two children. Her extensive understanding of the body and its mechanics will help you leave her class feeling stronger and re-inspired to go out and achieve your goals. Wendy recently became a certified Yoga instructor through CorePower Yoga.
Co-owner & Instructor
A fully certified instructor through the PhysicalMind Institute, she has been teaching for 14 years with a background emphasizing rehabilitation. She is the owner of the Pilates Training Institute which certifies people nationally and internationally to teach Pilates. Her Bachelor of Science/Kinesiology degree, former job as a Univ. of Colorado athletic trainer, injury prevention educator for Italian cycling and dance teams, and six years in a physical therapy clinic brings a well-rounded knowledge to the studio to challenge and assist clients of all levels. As a former competitive ski racer she realizes the importance of a strong core. You will “enjoy” finding muscles you didn’t know you had in her classes.
Studio Manager & Instructor
Pam is fully certified through the Pilates Training Institute and has completed TRX, Spin & Barre certifications. She grew up participating in numerous sports in Denver, CO from soccer & competitive swimming to skiing & triathlon at CU Boulder. Pam enjoys hiking, biking, camping, boating, and everything the Colorado mountains have to offer. As a passionate athlete for life, Pam is aware of the need to have a strong connection between the body and mind. She discovered Pilates while recovering from a knee injury in 2005 & fell in love with it immediately. Pam was impressed by the recognizable changes in her body during everyday life; increased flexibility, balance, and overall core strength, that she was inspired to share it with others. She will challenge you to find your own balance & core strength through creative movement patterns…and you’ll have fun doing it!
Retail Manager & Instructor
Lora is a fully certified classically trained Pilates instructor through the internationally renowned BASI (Body Arts and Science International) Pilates® Certification program founded by Master Teacher, Rael Isacowitz. Lora was first introduced to Pilates during her professional dance career, as a way to enhance her dancing and help keep her body flexible but strong. She grew up in Northern California and was involved with the Greentree Ballet Company for 14 years. She then went on to major in Dance and Education at the University of California, Irvine. After college she danced professionally for Disney in California and Japan. Lora is extremely passionate about teaching Pilates and educating people about their bodies. She always brings a smile to class and incorporates her training, experience, and years of dance to help clients find grace, coordination, flow, and core strength.
Massage therapist, Pilates & TRX Instructor
Starting with a B.A. in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado, and going on to become a certified massage therapist, Stephani has also completed our PhysicalMind instructor training program as well as all of the required apprentice hours. Stephani has a unique number of perspectives from which to view and train her clients. ‘Enjoy’ a multifaceted workout and then walk straight in to her massage room where she can help your muscles to maximize the benefits of your efforts! Anna is a fully certified Mat Instructor through the Pilates Training Institute. She started practicing Pilates seriously in 2010 and was so inspired by the benefit, that she knew a career was in the making! The core strength, flexibility and alignment she gained from Pilates helped her biking, skiing, paddle boarding, not to mention improvements in her her overall health. Anna discovered a new found love for all the sports and activities that bring her so much joy. Her chronic back pain began to disappear and her desire to help others find a similar passion for Pilates began to blossom. With her love of exercise and her knowledge and awareness of the human body, she will challenge you and give you the confidence and tools to push yourself to the next level! She is a loving person with a great sense of humor, and she will always make you feel welcome in her class, no matter what! Becky’s background in Exercise Science gave her the education necessary to begin a deeper teaching
practice of Pilates and Yoga. With a passion and understanding of mind, body and spirit, and her
subsequent studies at Kripalu, she opened her own business; Sole Balance Ayurveda LLC. She currently
practices as an Ayurvedic Consultant, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist and Integral Pilates Instructor.
Becky’s heart lies in the choice to authentically live and breathe a holistic, wellness lifestyle. She loves
learning and teaching through the ancient lense of Yoga and Ayurveda. She believes the imbalances of
the body and mind are our personal callings to find truth and consciousness in our lives.
Originally from Binghamton, New York Gina has been a resident of Steamboat Springs for many years. Gina currently works as a massage therapist after graduating from the Hawaiian Islands School of Massage Therapy in March of 2004. She specializes in therapeutic massage with focus on myofascial release, trigger point therapy and postural rebalancing. Recently certified as a Pilates instructor through the Pilates Training Institute, Gina looks forward to synthesizing her knowledge. Barre, Spin, Pilates & TRX Instructor
Rebecca is a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Group Fitness, Booty Barre, and Spin Instructor. She has a passion for working with postpartum clients and understands the challenges and importance of making time for yourself after having kids. She also specializes in group personal training and private classes designed specifically to meet your needs. She loves for high-intensity, sweat-dripping workouts and emphasizes the importance of core strength to support full body movement, increase strength, and exercise safely. She enjoys teaching and participating in Barre, Pilates, Strength Training, Spin, and High Intensity Interval Classes. She is also an avid runner, mountain biker, and loves the challenges of completing triathlons.
Pilates & Aerial Instructor
Heidi is a Certified mat instructor through Pilates Training Institute. She also has completed Born to Fly Aerial Fabric Teacher Training as well as Aircat Aerial Arts Aerial Fabric Teacher Training and Aircat Aerial Arts Aerial Yoga 1 Teacher Training. She has passionately choreographed Steamboat Dance Theatre 2014 and 2015 Aerial & other forms of dance pieces. Heidi believes that through love and kindness, one can complete any task.
As a long time choreographer of Taiwanese color guards, Jaudz sees how dance and yoga anatomy come together through Pilates. Her interest in the connection between body and mind, combined with her passion for movement, makes her an innovative and inspiring instructor. Jaudz is Pilates Mat certified through the Pilates Training Institute and is currently working towards her full Pilates apparatus certification.
A fully certified instructor through the PhysicalMind Institute and former competitive gymnast, Dana was so inspired by her own achievements with Pilates, that she dedicated herself to the intense instructor training while still running her CPA firm. She balances her time between her two teenage daughters, and her various recreation activities with the help of her new found energy that Pilates has provided. Dana uses her knowledge and humor to challenge you to dig deeper in your core and uncontrollably smile the whole time you’re doing it.
Yoga & Pilates Instructor
Jess Ryan has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and it has truly changed her life both mentally and physically. She uses yoga to manage stress, stay fit and keep her mindful and focused. With a desire to share yoga with others, in 2015, she earned her 200 Hour Certification from Bhakti Barn Yoga in Millburn, NJ. Knowing that being a good teacher comes from being a good student, Jess is open to new experiences and loves to share those with her students. Her Vinyasa style classes are challenging and fun.
Spin & Pilates Instructor
Tawnya has become a fully certified mat instructor through the PhysicalMind Institute, a certified spinning instructor through Spinning (Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc.), and most recently yoga teacher certified through CorePower Yoga. A self-described “cardio junkie”, Tawnya has realized that the optimal functioning of the abdominal core is at the crux of all physical activity, and she applies this mantra to her sessions as an instructor in spin classes. Tawnya hopes to encourage everyone to push beyond what they perceive their limits to be, and to do so by tapping into a previously undiscovered inner strength, thereby going out into the world with a newfound confidence!
Sista works the front desk at the studio. She is a Colorado native who’s been in Steamboat Springs for the last couple years. She loves dancing, drawing, and her adorable pup, Hazelnut!
Sandy Evans Hall
Sandy has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and finally did the deep dive into yoga teacher training in 2016 with Wanderlust studio in Squaw Valley, California. Her training is in Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga with great appreciation for innovation and creativity. Sandy is also a certified Health Coach and helps people reach their health goals with a holistic approach. Both Sandy and her husband Gus, were trained together as yoga teachers and credit yoga, nutrition, and meditation for keeping them young and strong in heart, body and spirit!
Kady has been a Steamboat local for over 15 years enjoying all of the summer & winter sports & activities there are to be had. With a Bachelors in Exercise Physiology & a Masters in Nursing, Kady brings a well-rounded knowledge of health & wellness to the studio. Kady’s previous dance experience combined with her love of exercise led to the training to be a booty barre sculpt teacher. She hopes you have fun and enjoy getting your “booty kicked!”
Kate Rench is a long time local of Steamboat Springs and chef at Cafe Diva. She is a competitive mountain bike racer and the Pilates studio has been a key in keeping her in her race shape performance during the off seasons for years now. She now has become part of our team of instructors.
Raised in Canada, Samantha moved to Colorado in 1999 and to Steamboat in 2005 with her family. She is a CPA with THPK and like many locals, has a passion for fitness and health. She has been teaching fitness classes for over 25 years and plans to teach for the next 25! Her favorite thing about teaching is meeting new people and helping them stay inspired to reach their fitness goals. Just keep spinning!
Spin & Pilates Instructor
Adrienne is a certified Pilates Instructor through the Pilates Training Institute and her biggest passion is teaching group fitness classes and bringing the community together through fitness. She started teaching spin classes at RallySport in Boulder during the summer of 2015, she continued to teach spin classes along with a variety of other classes at Virginia Tech from 2015-2017. She has taught a variety of classes including spin classes, GBT (Guts, Butts, and Thighs), HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Boot Camp, Pilates and her favorite coreCYCLE/ Abs combo. In her free time she loves backpacking, camping, cycling, swimming, trail running, and spending time outside.
Spin & Yoga Instructor
Being a fan of the many benefits yoga brings to my outdoor pursuits, I decided it was time to deepen my practice and earn my 200 YTT accreditation. My expectation was not to teach, but to learn more from the amazing teachers assembled in Europe, as I was living there. I began this journey at Yoga Roof in Lugano Switzerland in 2013 and completed my training in Aspen with Gina Caputo from The Colorado School of Yoga in 2015. What I didn’t expect was that I DID want to teach! Because when I teach, I learn so much about the endless possibilities that lie in all of us.
Yoga & PiYo Instructor
Janne is a fully certified yoga instructor through Mukti Yoga School, and embraces the opportunity to practice yoga both on and off her mat. Being a self-proclaimed energetic, borderline-neurotic multi-tasker, the practice of yoga allows her to bring balance, strength and presence into her life. Janne’s goal when she teaches is to bring a meaningful flow to each class giving her students the opportunity to find and recognize their inner and outer strengths as well as use the breath as an instrument of presence both on and off the mat.
Lauren has been practicing yoga since 2008 and teaching since 2012. She began her training with Baron Baptiste and received her 200-hour RYT from Dorian Wright in Honolulu, Hawaii. Currently, she is on the path towards her 800-hour Yoga Therapist certification where she will benefit from the counseling of amazing world class teachers including Maria Mendiola, Nischala Joy Devi, Laura Kupperman, Durga Leela and more. Lauren believes that yoga is a lifetime practice for the body, mind and spirit that gives you tools to guide you toward a deeper sense of happiness and health.
Lauren’s teaching methodologies range from self care, restorative-yin to a more mentally and physically challenging asana practice where she incorporates attributes from various styles that she has explored over the years including power yoga, Anusara, hot yoga, Vinyasa, Jivamukti, and Ashtanga. Her classes allow students to take a more lighthearted and fun approach to yoga, connecting to their physical and spiritual potential. Lauren’s goal is to help as many people as possible become aware of their deeper selves and how they affect the world around them. She is a firm believer in creating a warm and inviting space to make all individuals feel comfortable.
Pilates & Barre Instructor
Over the past several years, I have been on a daily journey to plant my feet firmly on the ground, take a deep breath (many!), and make this choice: I will empower and love myself as I walk along my own road of awareness and self-exploration. Along the way, I have collected titles with profound purpose like wife, mother and school teacher. I found confirmation that teaching is truly my passion after I received a Masters in Education. I then expanded my teaching into a new realm when I became a Certified Yoga and Bar Method Instructor, guiding students spiritually and physically. I began to see the benefits of living Simple, Clean and Whole and wanted to teach others to do the same. Learning and teaching in this holistic way (or as I like to say, whole-istic) brought a realization that the health and wellness field is where my heart lies; a powerful calling I could not ignore. Seeking more knowledge, I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutri- tion soon after, became a Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, and started a practice that fully embraces my values. My belief is that health is a continuous process that embraces all aspects of life: physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, spiritual, social and universal.

What began as a search for a new form of exercise after her third child was born, quickly became a spin addiction and blossomed into a new chapter in her life. Charly has spent may years as a student of cycling, pilates and strength training and is thrilled to have crossed the threshold from student to teacher. Charly’s passion for fitness and health encouraged her to get certified as a spinning instructor and in pilates. Her inner moxie and love of music are are evident in the energy that happens in each COREcycle and PUREpower class. In her spare time, Charly enjoys skiing, running and family time with her husband and three young boys.
Spin & Yoga Instructor
Athletics have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, from tennis to horseback riding to skiing, I have both participated and then taught all of these activities. I first became interested in Yoga after a tennis injury in high school. Attending the University of Colorado at Boulder for my undergraduate degree in 2002, I became certified in Ashtanga Yoga and then obtained my CorePower yoga certification in both vinyasa as well as sculpt. Yoga was not easy for me, years of tight muscles made each asana (pose) tough to work through. This self-evolution enables me to relate with yogis of all levels and abilities enabling my passion of yoga to grow. My classes incorporate a physical athletic aspect into all of them and I guarantee both a work out of the body as well as the mind. In 2008 I began working at Better Bodies, and fell in love with both spin (cycle) as well as kickboxing. When I’m not teaching, you can find me skiing or hiking with my canine sidekick Callie. I moved up to Steamboat Springs in January 2017 as the newest veterinarian at PetKare clinic. I attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where I taught vinyasa land yoga, paddleboard yoga and kickboxing 20/20/20. I finished my veterinary career at Colorado State University and taught yoga at Raintree Athletic Club in Ft. Collins, CO.
Sal is a certified 200 HR. Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance with Passion Yoga School. She was a NCAA Division 1 Rower; trained with the US Development Team during her undergraduate years before diving head first into skiing and exploring the Rocky Mountains. She own ‘Improbable Reality’ where she makes beautiful custom Mala necklaces and designs jewelry. She is an event and wedding planner too! Love: Magic tricks, nature and universal connectivity. Goal: Empower the modern yogi to calm the mind and find beauty in this present moment. Strive for grace and gratitude in all situations.
